Szeretem ezt a könyvet, annak ellenére, hogy tüneményes. Hogy tűnékeny. A pillanat műve. Öt napról szól, egyetlen pillanatról és elkészült egy hónap alatt. Sec perc idő ez ahhoz képest, hogy Goethe jó hatvan évig szöszmötölt a Fauston, Vergilius pedig, ha igaz a fáma, kilenc esztendeig ült az Aeneisen. Kedves könyv ez a számomra, mert meglehet, örök érvényű. Miért is ne? Meglehet… Ha egy Goethénél és Vergiliusnál nagyobb Úr a semmiből hat munkanap alatt kanyarintotta ki a komplett világmindenséget, miért volna eleve romlásra kárhoztatva egy olyan mű, melynek megalkotása egy hónapba telt? Jelzem, ma már ötnapos munkahétről beszélünk, ötről hatra jutva. Jó könyv ez, mert fogalmam sincs, mely részletek maradnak meg belőle inkább az időnek: a mélyenszántónak, avagy a habkönnyedek?… „János, fáradj vissza a titokszobába most” – csak a szöveg más ezúttal – „János, ha jót akarsz, hagyd abba: most.”
